Size Charts
Because the foot is three-dimensional, any two-dimensional measuring tool, such as a ruler or Brannok device®, can only approximate your true shoe size. Please also keep in mind that sizing may vary slightly between manufacturers.
Make sure you are standing and wearing the socks or stockings you will wear with your new shoes or boots. Place your heel against a straight edge. Place a ruler beside your foot and measure from the straight edge at your heel to the tip of your longest toe. Using one of the following charts, convert your inch or centimeter measurement to your shoe size.
Note: It's very common for one foot to be slightly larger than the other. Be sure to measure both feet and use the larger size to ensure comfort.
Properly fit boots should be snug in the instep, arch and ball of foot. Heel slippage is normal for a good fit. Boots will ‘break in’ and conform to your foot.

Shipping
Shipping Rates are calculated by weight and distance. The dollar amount for shipping and handling will be calculated and displayed on your “cart” at the time of your order. The shipping amount is derived directly from the carrier. It normally takes approximately 1-3 business days to fulfill orders and then another 3-5 business days for the item to be delivered to the appropriate address.
Return Policy
Frenchsbootsandshoes.com will accept returns for exchange or credit within 30 (thirty) business days of the ship date. Frenchsbootsandshoes.com will not accept any item after this 30 (thirty) day time period.
When the item arrives, please immediately check each item carefully to make sure the item fits properly and that there are not any defects. When trying on boots walk only on carpeted areas until it is certain the boots fit correctly.
Merchandise may only be returned if it is in NEW CONDITION (i.e. tags, packaging intact, unwashed, unworn). Altered or worn items will not be exchanged.
Return shipping charges will be paid by French’s Shoes and Boots in the event of defective goods. Otherwise, return shipping will be paid by the buyer. In the event of an exchange, the buyer will also pay shipping for the new item.
Return Process
Click on the “Contact Us” link on the website and leave a detailed description requesting a return authorization number (RA#). Make sure to include the order number as well as the name and email address corresponding to the order. Within 3 business days an e-mail will be sent back with a return authorization number.
Please include a copy of the receipt with the returned item as well as the RA# printed on the label and return it to the address below via UPS Ground or USPS Priority.

Qualities of Leather

Leather will always have natural marking such as dents, scars, scratches, or wrinkles. These natural markings or irregularities should not be considered a defect but rather indications of genuine leather.
